Dissatisfaction is a major catalyst for change. But it can also create a confusion that not only clouds planning but hides reality.
It’s not possible to plot a successful move forward before fully understanding where we are at this point in time.
A change in circumstances based on a whim is a potentially dangerous move.
All too often we are led by either our heart or our head when it’s both working in unity that is what is needed.
Feelings are one thing. Facts can be something else entirely. Focusing on one without considering the other can be a grave mistake.
The result of acting on an untested idea is, more often than not, disappointment and disdain and that is not an acceptable foundation for progression.
It can be easier to know what it is that we no longer want than it is to envisage that which we do want. Difference can be little more than a step into the unknown. But still the temptation to leap before looking remains.
If we have managed to successfully subject the prospect of change to head and heart scrutiny the hard work begins.
Replacing one thing with another is not always the answer. Choice and timing must be factored in.
What must be considered is that every choice implemented has consequences.
We have responsibilities and the first must be to ourselves.
