Life Is For Living

Where we are is not necessarily where we will stay. Who we are is not necessarily who we will continue to be. We are moulded by situations and circumstances. Change will happen, whether by choice or by chance.

The important factor is how we react to the changes we see around us and feel inside of us. And reaction is demanded. We can choose to fight against the force…to battle the inevitability that today will be different from yesterday and that tomorrow brings with it its own promise. Or we can use that energy in a positive way.

There must be a beginning…a point in time and space when we decide to spend more energy looking around us and ahead of us than behind us.

And that starts with an appreciation of where we are and who we are at this very moment…not then and there but here and now.

If we can appreciate what we have then we can choose to change. We first need to know where we are before we can alter our position.

Physical change impacts on psychological change. The opposite is also true. We are what we think and we become how we act.

It takes effort to define our time and our space. It’s harder still to appreciate something that is not perfect. But if we appreciate the fact that we are flawed then we can decide if change is either desirable or necessary.

Everything should start with an attitude of gratitude…being thankful that we are here and that our very existence brings with it boundless potential.

Life is very much what we make of it.
