The Time Is Now

Of all that we earn, all we learn and all we do the most valueable of all possessions is time. Our time is ours and ours alone. We are unable to give time to others or take time from them. Time is personal.

The frustration is that we simply do not know how much time we have. There are no guarantees that we will see tomorrow. Even our next breath is not promised or assured.

We can look backward and see how we have spent the time that has gone. We can speculate about how we would spend the time that may or may not wait for us in the future.

There is little point in using time on regret. That which was has gone and is unable to be changed.

The compound impact of all we have experienced has brought us to this day, this time.

It’s important to take the lessons we have learned and use that knowledge to enjoy the day that is.

Today is the most important day of our life simply because we are here. Our presence is surrounded by opportunity. Our next thought or action could change the direction of our lives for better or for worse.

We can use our time or we can waste it. When out time runs out it is gone.

Events and individuals may influence or affect us. Circumstance and situation may impose restrictions. But we get to decide how our time will be spent.

It’s the ultimate responsibility.
