There will be times when the world demands more than we believe we have to give. It’s when we are overwhelmed that we can be at our most vulnerable.
Our situation can be compounded by the simple fact that stress can impair our judgement and fear can cloud our commonsense. Decisions made and actions taken when we are at a low point in our lives are not always in the best interests of our physical or mental wellbeing.
It’s at those times that we must put effort into stepping back from the problem or problems in order to gain a better perspective. Clear space and clear air contribute to clear vision.
But there is a gap between theory and practice. What we know is not always what we do. Self-doubt can be damaging.
It’s at those times that we need to dig deep and call on the support of those around us.
Despite the fact that not all advice is good advice contributions made by others based on their own life experience are worth considering.
There is nothing new under the sun. We are all on the same journey even though some may choose to take different paths.
There is nothing anyone of us can think or feel or imagine that has not been thought, felt or imagined by other people.
There may be times when we feel overwhelmed but we are never truly alone.
Nice words Gary.
