Testing The Truth

Ignoring the truth is no way to disempower the truth. What is real and true will remain real and true despite the very best efforts of some to make it appear less than it is.

When every effort to reframe it is dead and gone, truth will survive.

We all have our ways of twisting what is true to make it fit into the world we imagine. The problem there is that imagination is not reality. And reality is fact.

The worry is that we are surrounded by falsity…people who want us to believe that what we see and hear is something other than what is actually happens to be.

The more we are confronted by falsity, the better the chances of the boundaries that separate right from wrong will be eroded.

We can get to the point where our innate understanding of our true self can be brought into question.

When we start to doubt ourselves we have one of two choices. The first is to believe the doubt and run with it. The second is to question the doubt and examine it. One choice leads to confusion, the other to clarity.

More often than not we know where the truth sits. We know our own truth. We protect that truth and understanding by resisting the temptation to lie to ourselves.

We will not always be right. But by testing our doubt and confronting our confusion we can protect our mental wellbeing. We can learn and we can grow.

There is a vast chasm of pain and loss that lies between ignorance and bliss. Not knowing and choosing not to know are two entirely difference things.

Instinct can be a protective force.

Awareness takes effort and it starts with looking within.

It’s important to know ourselves so that we can be able to trust ourselves and our judgement.
