The Human And Being

There’s a reason for being just as there’s a meaning in being. Life is very much about the pursuit of the definition of existence.

Like it or not, we are all part of something that is bigger than the individual…there’s family, community, society…so many things that connect us to others.

A problem with connection is that it can lead to conflict because everyone has their own motivation and objective.

It takes effort to be on the same page at the same time. Finding someone of like mind and interests may involve a degree of compromise. We are who we are but we can choose to be a different or improved version of that person. That’s more about sincerity than it’s about insincerity. The honesty part of that equation starts and ends with the individual.

So being a part of something takes work but it’s worth that’s not without its rewards.

The effort taken adds meaning to reason. The two combined help guide us to self-realisation. If we know who we are and have a grip on the concept of why we are then we have a platform from which to launch actions and decisions that will lead to a life well lived.

Our mental wellbeing may be affected by the things that happen to us and around us but the repair work can only be done inside us.

It starts with rest and recreation and it should be built into a defined pattern of self care.

We can be either our own best friend or our worst enemy. We get to choose and the choice we make will either improve or complicate the life we lead.

The point is that we are. What we do with that fact is in our head, heart and hands. But it’s ours.
