Seeing Is Believing

What we think is one thing but what we do is everything.

The very best of intentions amount to little if not followed by action. The world knows us by what we do not by what we think.

What that means in the long term is accepting and facing challenges. It means taking what is inside of us and moving it to outside and around us.

Mental turmoil results when impression is not translated into expression. It matters little for example if we merely think we are a good person. The important thing is to actually become what we think.

It gets down to challenging ourselves, working through our thoughts and justifying our actions.

We have to remain vigilant and hold ourselves accountable. If knowledge is power then the greatest power of all is self knowledge.

It’s not necessary to accept who we are and what we think if we find that disagreeable. We all have the power to change. Every day is a new opportunity to try again…a new chance to rethink and restructure.

We are surrounded by choices but every choice has its consequences. Regardless of whether we find that unacceptable it remains a fact.

One of the keys to mental stability is being at peace with the person we are and that is only achievable if we take the time to know and understand that person.

Perceptions of others is built on what they do and who they are and not on what they think.

And actions will always speak louder than words.
