We draw inspiration from those around us. We find motivation within us. The two in combination are a powerful force. The former comes from observation. The latter from activation.
What we see and hear is of little real value to us if we choose to ignore it. It’s altogether possible to go through life with eyes, ears, mind and heart sealed shut.
It’s when we open ourselves up to the possibilities that present themselves to us that we can live a life of meaning and satisfaction.
The answer is not absolute vulnerability. It’s about self-care and common sense. It’s about learning the lessons of life and applying that knowledge.
But no matter how inspirational an idea or an individual can be there is no value to be found in inaction.
We can quite easily miss the moment or overlook the opportunity. A sustained response can only be fuelled by the strength of our own emotions. We can only learn and grow as much as we allow ourselves to learn and grow.
Big picture moments and events are inevitable but incremental daily growth is far more important.
Every day in every way we can get better but only if we first give ourselves permission.
By learning to value and appreciate ourselves as unique individuals we boost our chances of being the best unique individual.
