Choice Cuts Close

Today can be a very good day or today can be a very bad day. A lot depends on circumstance. A whole lot more depends on choice.

Where we are now has a direct link to what we did then. We are generally the sum total of decisions made in the time leading up to today.

Hindsight is a hindrance. It’s a torment we can do without. There is little point regretting decisions made in a different time and a different place by a different person. And we are not the are person we were yesterday. The best we can hope and change for is that mistakes made will not be mistakes repeated.

But that makes today vitally important because today is full of opportunity and choice. What we do with what we have and what we think today will determine the quality of our tomorrow. It will also define the who we will be.

Life is a work in process. We are a work in progress. We can decide for ourselves if we will be happy and hopeful or sad and unsettled. We are unable to make that decision for others and no-one else can make that decision for us.

It’s important to make every day count…and count in a good way.

The choice is ours and ours alone.
